Hi there, I am Tabitha! I'm a bit of an older girl who first came into the shelter as a young kitten and recently found my way back here. I have always been quite the shy girl and never really had much confidence around humans, since returning to the shelter I have since been in foster. While I have been in foster I have learnt humans aren't all that bad, I'm must more accepting of pats and do enjoy them. Although I am not a cuddle bug, I will lay beside you on the bed for company and pats but anything too affectionate I'm not a fan. I am good with other cats and would love a confident cat companion, in large spaces I can still be quiet skittish and do prefer smaller spaces if I'm up on the couch or somewhere elevated you can come over to me for a pat but all I ask is that you approach gently and talk to me. I will allow you to pick me up, I don't mind it as long as it isn't for an extended time. I have never scratched or bitten but I do hiss when I am scared. My only other quirk is that I do try to eat indoor plants if they are on the floor but will not go out of my way to climb up to any. I'm just an older shy lady looking for a nice relaxing home where my human(s) can help build my confidence more and understands I may not be a cuddle bug. Indoors only, Ok with cats.
