Madison. Dear future family, Thank you for taking the time to read about me. My name is Madison and a story like mine is why fostering and adopting in our community is so important and rewarding. I am caring and playful, and love a pat and scratch and love my foster companions. I have been with my foster family for many months and in that time, I have learnt to love and trust not only other cats but dogs and humans too. Many months you might say? That's a long time. Why that long? Well, you see the fun-loving girl I am now wasn't how I always was. I was one of the most timid cats my foster family has ever met. They knew I wanted and needed love I just did not know how to give it. They were patient with me and they never gave up and now with much sadness but also with great excitement I am ready to start my next adventure. I need a home where my family understands that you may not see my personality straight away and that even though I am ready for adoption that I may take some time to settle in. If you already have a friendly cat at your house that needs a companion then they will also help me feel more comfortable in my new home. I don't need a family who is home all the time but a family who has older children would be more suitable for me as I love my teenage foster human.
