Hi I'm Albert I'm like a big teddy bear cat, and let me tell you, I love love! Affection seems to just flow out of me, and I'm more than willing to freely share my love with anyone and anything. Being a large boy, I'm practically made for cuddling - it's one of my favourite pastimes. In the shelter, I might appear shy and a bit reserved, but let me assure you, I'm a big softie at heart. My potential to be an absolute snuggle bug in a home setting is evident from my improving behaviour. I'm on the lookout for a home where I can spread all my love and snuggles. My journey began on a farm, where I had never experienced human contact and was quite scared when I first arrived at GAWS. It took a couple of weeks for my carers to notice that I liked other cats and responded positively to their presence. I have come around in leaps and bounds over the last few weeks, I am now the confident boy every one new I could be. I have also taken my little mate Loki under my wing and together we will be those missing pieces you needed for your home. We really do complement each other in all the best ways. I haveI gained the confidence to trust humans, although I may still be a bit shy at times, , I'm getting better every day, particularly when it comes to chin scratches, pats, and even cuddles. Over the past months, I've blossomed, making numerous feline friends. Once I connect with someone, you'll find me giving head bumps, getting up on my favourite human's laps for a soft embrace, and showcasing my gorgeous playful side. I have a few favourites in life, such as roast chicken, naps, sunbathing, and learning from my cat friends. I thrive in a quiet home (sorry, no small children) with humans who encourage my growth and understand that it will take me a bit of time to fully open up. I'm okay with calm dogs and will happily hang out with them (and get in a little head bump while I'm at it!). Due to my colours and nature, the indoor lifestyle suits me best. I would truly long for a nice, friendly feline friend in my new home. Trust me, when you meet me, you'll love me-I'm worth it, I promise! xo
