Hi. I am Issy. I am a pretty girl. When you first look at me you will probably think I am a black cat however the tortoiseshell in me, gives my body a burnished look. I have big yellow eyes that stand out, particularly as I have a streak of sandy fur (like a moustache) under my nose which gives my face a quirky look. I have been in a foster household with quite a number of cats. After being a bit standoffish with them at first, we now play together and have been known to groom one another. I think I would enjoy being in a household where there is another friendly feline. I have not had any experience with dogs. I like my quiet time but I also like to play. Small soft toys thrown for me was one activity I enjoyed. I was also interested in the laser light and toys that moved. I am still a little shy. I like to be around you, but don't enjoy, as yet, being picked up. I am more than happy to be in the room with you, on a cat tree relaxing. Once I am more confident with you, I will enjoy gentle pats along my back and around my chin and ears. Like most cats I don't like to be loomed over - its best if you are more on my level. Older gentle children would be fine. The way to my heart is through my stomach. I love both wet and dry food and some treats. Once I am comfortable with you, when its food time - I will be there rubbing up against your leg and arching my body for a pet. I am a gorgeous girl who will continue to grow in confidence and become a loving and playful cat, if given time, love and attention from my forever family.
