Rufus George has been a GAWS resident for some time now and with that comes forms of shelter stress, he is desperate to break out. Due to Rufus's overzealous joy to greet his handlers, and excessive tail wagging he has suffered 'happy tail' in the pen environment, this has resulted in the amputation of his tail. Sporting a new stump-look it it's pleasing to see Rufus is unfazed by this and can now full body wiggle to express himself to those he loves, a sight to bring a smile. Please consider Rufus's plight and take a look at our beautiful Bull Arab cross. Rufus is looking for an active home with some humans that are willing to provide him with the mental stimulation, physical exercise and affection that he requires to flourish. Rufus has proved to be very dog social and has lived with children in the home so could be a great family dog. He has been surrendered to us due to becoming too much for his previous owner to handle after a recent move of home. Rufus can suffer from separation anxiety when left alone so his ideal humans would be around more often than not and have a well balanced canine companion to keep him company.
