Hello, my name is Clara! I am a shy but very sweet girl once I'm comfortable. I have been in foster for quite some time and now it is time for me to find my forever home. My ideal home would be very quiet with calm owners, I would not cope with children or active dogs. I would love a cat companion who is friendly as I do love my cat buddies! They help me feel safe especially in new environments. I may take some time to warm up to you but I promise I am worth the patience, everything has to be taken slow with me although, I do love some cheek scratches, I'll purr for you as soon as you give me one when I'm comfortable. Once I'm more comfortable with you I'll come over for pats when you call me and even lift my bum up when you scratch the base of my tail! When I am frightened I will hide, if you come and find me you'll hear me give tiny squeaky meows and I'll look away, if you give me lots of pats and reassurance I'll be back to purring in no time. I'm not one for much hissing or growling. I'm more of a hide, freeze, cower kind of cat. You can pick me up, I'll accept it without a fuss but again you will probably hear me squeak as it does scare me still. Also a great way to my heart is through Dine creamy treats.
