Siberian Husky

  • Type: Dog
  • Sex: Female
  • Status: Available For Adoption

Simba is a stunning example of the husky breed, with striking looks and a spirited personality to match. Originally adopted from us a year and a half ago, she recently found her way back into our care as a stray. How she ended up back here remains a bit of a mystery, but what's clear is that Simba is ready for a fresh start - and a stable, loving home where she can finally put down roots. When Simba first arrived, she was understandably aloof. But with time, she's revealed her cheeky, playful side and her true husky charm. While she is social and enjoys interacting with other dogs during walks and outings, Simba will need to be the only dog in her new home. She's not suited to living with other pets but will thrive as the centre of attention. True to her breed, Simba will require regular grooming and an active lifestyle. Daily exercise and mental enrichment are essential to keep her happy and healthy. She is house-trained, has some basic training under her belt, and has previously lived around children, including newborns. While she may suit a family environment, any children in the home will need to attend a meet-and-greet to ensure the right fit for everyone. Simba has no known history with cats. This beautiful girl has already had quite the journey - now she's ready to find her forever home, where she can truly thrive as the loyal, adventurous companion she was born to be.
