The best way to describe Maggie? I'M HERE! Maggie is full of energy, being part Coolie- a working dog. In foster care, she has had 4 dogs to play with - a kelpie, cattle dog, cane Corso, and a Great Dane - which she got on well with, but ultimately showed she prefers to be the only pet in the home- wanting to have all the attention for herself! Maggie has learnt to behave beautifully in the car and will just sit and have a look at the world go by or just lay down. She would excel in an active house, and if any children, ideally would be older ones who are used to dogs. Maggie is a big snuggle bug and enjoys someone at home with her. Maggie is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets. Maggie loves the couch and a dog bed in the room with her protectors. Maggie loves her food she has been fed raw food while in foster care and thrived on it. Maggie does need more training but she's so intelligent and a quick learner. Maggie has 2 walks a day with 6-10 dogs off leash in a controlled area (while training her recall) as she loves to run, but Maggie is great on lead too, and as long as she has something to smell and watch she is happy. Enrichment is important to keep her happy. In 1 word: GORGEOUS! You won't be disappointed with this beautiful girl.
