I'm Ibis 🧡 - a sweet and sensitive ginger girl with a heart of fire and a soul full of curiosity. I'm not your typical lap cat (at least not right away), but I do have a gentle hiss upon approach that really just means "please be kind, I need time." I value my space and appreciate a slow, respectful approach. Once we become friends, I'll lean in for a full-body pat and press my head into your hand for a good, grounding head-cupping massage. Bliss! I have a playful streak too. I adore dangly toys, tunnels, and get the zoomies in the evenings (tail-chasing included, which I'm told is highly entertaining to watch!). I thrive best in a quiet home with another friendly feline. Cat friends help me feel confident and more open to human companionship. I'm also quite food-motivated and respond well to reward-based training. I've met a dog before and we really weren't a very good match, so I will need to live in a dog-free home 🚫🐶 But this way I can ensure ALL your attention is on me! I'm not suited to a home with young children, as I don't enjoy being picked up or rushed. What I need is a peaceful, patient environment with independent people who understand that trust is something I give on my terms.
