Hello, I'm Monty, I'm a sweet, slow-going older gentleman who is looking for a nice quiet home to retire in. I'm a relaxed and independent fella who is happy to live a chilled, low-key life, but I am also quite affectionate when I want to be. I love my food so I am more active and needy in the mornings, but once I've had my feed, it's time for a nap in the sun by a window. After I've caught up on my 💤 though, I'll happily follow you around or hangout next to you looking for attention. In the evenings, I'd make a great couch companion as I will happily watch a movie with you while you give me pats and cuddles. At the end of the day, I'll snuggle up in bed next to you, ready to do it all again tomorrow 😽 I don't really like other cats - they can be a bit annoying for my tastes and I don't want to stress either of us out - so I would love to be the only furry friend in your home 🚫🐈 I've met a dog before and we really weren't a very good match, so I will need to live in a dog-free home 🚫🐶 But this way I can ensure ALL your attention is on me! I'd also prefer a home without young children, as they can be a bit too rowdy and boisterous for me, and I can be quite overwhelmed by them 🚫👶 A child-free home will keep me at my happiest! Due to my light colourings and long fur, I will need to live indoors only - so I don't get hurt by the harsh Aussie sun 🚫☀️ or get things stuck in my coat. But as long as I have a nice cat tower or comfy bed by a window where I can bird-watch I will be a very happy kitty 🦜 A good brush every now and then will also help keep my coat looking runway-ready! Please give an older lad like me a home, I still have LOTS of years left! NEEDS: indoors only, no sun, regular grooming, no cats, no dogs, no children (under 8)
