Meet Huckleberry, Huckleberry is a gentle, big boy looking for a quiet relaxed home in his later years. Settles in quickly, good with other cats but may growl initially, not out of aggression just of uncertainty. So he just needs some time to get used to them so as long as he is introduced slowly he would be fine. When he arrived in his foster home, he strolled around and was very curious and loves checking out his surroundings. Being older he doesn't feel the need to move at a fast pace, why hurry if you don't have to. Huckleberry will sit with you on the couch or find his own favourite spot to relax and sleep. He enjoys a pat and gentle brush. He is good with his food so you won't have any trouble with him eating. But he is already a big boy so we don't want to overfeed him. He will call out if he is still peckish but be careful not to give in to his charms. Being older he does have some arthritis and is on meds for this but he takes it like a true champ. Can easily mix into his food which is less stressful for both him and his humans. He would not appreciate small children as they would be too overwhelming for him. If you are looking for a quiet older companion then come and meet this sweet soul.
