Bear is a very loving and handsome american staffy looking for a structured new home. After being too big for his backyard, bear found himself at GAWS. He has shown to need time warming up to people, but once he does will adore you endlessly! He needs owners who will help guide him with training and encouragement, avoiding the panic he feels of meeting new people. Through his time at GAWS he has made friends with all staff and volunteers. Bear does enjoy the company of other dogs and may suit a calm doggy companion to keep him company. Bear would best suit a home with everyone over 12 years old, to help him settle into a more structured and chilled home. Bear is not suited to a home with any cats or pocket pets.
