Diesel came to GAWS through no fault of his own, and it was clear from the start that he just needed a little extra support to build his confidence and adjust to new experiences. During his time in our care he has made wonderful progress, but his new family will need to continue gently guiding him so he can truly shine. Diesel would benefit from sharing his home with a calm and confident female dog who can show him the ropes. He's also still working on his basic manners and lead skills, so ongoing training will help him become the best version of himself. Because he can be a little nervous, Diesel is best suited to an adult-only home where he won't have to worry about the unpredictability of young children. He may suit living with dog savvy cats with a slow introduction. Diesel doesn't rush into new relationships, but once he feels safe you'll see his cheeky, playful side start to blossom-a special reward for the patience and love you give him.
