Meet sweet Jeanie 🌷🪻 This affectionate, shy girl came to us absolutely terrified of people, but is coming on in pounces-and-bounds every day, and she now cannot wait to find a loving home all her own! While Jeanie will start wary in a new environment, once she is comfortable with you she loves doing a quick drive-by headbutt before circling back around for some proper gentle pats. Jeanie can be a bit nervous when going in a carrier, so will need some calming medication before vet trips in the future, but these are easily gained! Once she gets settled and knows you, she loves promenading infront of you, showing herself off to try and get your attention. When happy she is a loud purrer, and dedicated biscuit-maker 👩🏻‍🍳 She even drools when she's really happy! She will do well in a nice quiet home where she has the trust to build her confidence in safety. Once confident, she LOVES to chase ping-pong balls around the floors 🧶 When she does want your attention, she will give you a gentle smack to get the pats moving! Jeanie will need to live indoors only to keep her safe from the dangers of the outdoor world. She would LOVE a friendly cat companion to help bring her out of her shell, and keep her company when she gets lonely ✅😺 Young kids might be a bit too rowdy for her, so she would prefer a home with older kids if any, and people who respect her boundaries.
