Meet Turbo - our handsome Kelpie cross with the face of a pup and the energy to match! At 8 years and 4 months old, Turbo still has plenty of spring in his step and a whole lot of love to give. Don't let his age fool you-he's full of life, playful, and always up for a good run or game in the yard. Turbo was sadly surrendered to us after his previous family had to move and could no longer keep him. He's been an outdoor dog his whole life, so he may need a bit of support adjusting to life as an inside/outside companion-but with patience and kindness, we know he'll take it in his stride. He's in good health, according to our vets, but like many of us, he's enjoyed a few too many treats and could benefit from shedding a few kilos. A nutritious, protein-rich diet along with regular exercise and joint support will help keep Turbo feeling his best. Turbo can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate once he feels safe. He's previously lived with another dog and a cat, so with the right introductions, he could do well in a home with other pets. Because of his enthusiastic play style, we recommend a home with children aged 8 and up-ideally with dog-savvy kids who can keep up with his energy and respect his space.
