Meet Katya - The Sweet, Shy Little Lady with a Big Heart! Hi there, I'm Katya, a petite, dainty girl and I am as cute as a button. I may take a little while to warm up, but once I trust you, I'll show my love with endless biscuiting and happy drools. I'm a "one-person" kind of cat, loyal to my chosen human. Once I decide you're mine, I'll sneak out at night for quiet cuddle sessions, when it feels like it's just you and me in the world. I am independent, sadly not a lap cat, and please don't try to pick me up (I won't have any of that!). But I'll happily wake you each morning with gentle head butts and affection on my own terms. I've only ever lived in one home, after starting life as a colony cat, so new experiences can take me time. But if you're patient and kind, I promise I'll come around. I'm low-maintenance, not much into toys, though I do enjoy a good case of the nighttime zoomies! I'm happy to share my space with another cat, and while I've never met a dog before, I might be fine with a calm one. I'm not a fan of little kids (too noisy and unpredictable for me), but respectful teens are perfectly okay.
