She'll follow you around the house asking for gentle pats and has even learned the sound of her foster carer's car - racing to the window to watch her arrive home before greeting her with enthusiastic headbutts around the legs. Peony loves face scratches and gentle affection, but she's still learning that hands always mean kindness. Sudden movements or being picked up can make her feel unsure, so slow, calm interactions help her feel safe and loved. With time, her confidence continues to grow every day. Like any kitten, Peony enjoys playtime! She loves chasing toy balls and playing with string, especially when her human joins in. She has been living with another cat in foster care and absolutely adores having a feline companion. Because she is on the timid side, Peony will need to live with a friendly, confident cat who can help reassure her and show her that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
