Hi. I am Walter. I LOVE being patted and petted, particularly around my head and cheeks. You will know when I am enjoying it, as my purr becomes quite loud. I am quite an independent cat so I am not as keen to be picked up and stroked but will tolerate it for a short time. I have been in a household with quite a number of cats and was a bit standoffish to begin with but now I am quite comfortable with them. One particular cat and I would play chasey up and down the hallway and have a great time. I was happy to eat with them without any issues. I would probably enjoy being in a household with another friendly feline. I have had access to an outside enclosure and would go and lounge out there when the weather was fine. For the safety of the bird life, it would be best if I was an indoor cat. I am very quick to see if I can get out outside through an open door. You will need to check I am not close by when you go in and out an external door! I can be quite a vocal cat. I also do this when I think I should be allowed outside, but an open window with a firm fly screen allows me to see and smell the world is a good compromise. I will be a real asset and bring joy to the household that takes me in and allows me to become one of their family members. NEEDS: indoors only, no sun
