This handsome boy came into our care as a stray, and while his previous family chose not to reclaim him due to personal circumstances, we know there's a perfect forever home out there just waiting for him. Affectionate and loyal, Boaz clearly grew up in a family environment. He would thrive in a home with children aged 8 and up - not because he isn't gentle, but because his high-energy zoomies might accidentally knock over the little ones. He's fully toilet trained and ready to settle into a new routine. Boaz can be vocal and tends to have bursts of hyperactivity, so he's looking for a confident, patient handler who understands working breeds and can help him channel that classic Shepherd energy in positive, structured ways. He hasn't had experience with cats and would do best as the only dog in the home. Due to his athleticism and curiosity, Boaz will need a secure yard with high fencing - he has previously cleared a 4-foot fence, so his new home must be prepared to keep this clever boy safe and contained.
