Buddy came to GAWS through no fault of his own and is now looking for a kind, caring human to share his forever after with. He can be a little shy with new people and prefers to take his time getting to know you - but once he does, Buddy becomes a loyal and loving companion. He's still adjusting to indoor/outdoor living and was only recently desexed, a short time in a new home has proven Budd is having some issues adjusting to indoor life and controlling his toileting habits. He will need potential crating and restricted access while he learns new habitats and his hormones settle. Buddy has previously lived with other dogs and may enjoy a home with a friendly canine companion of similar age and energy levels. He hasn't been tested with cats. Buddy has a slightly quirky way of sitting and a unique gait at times - but after x-rays, it's been confirmed that there are no underlying issues, just one of his charming little quirks! Including an underbite. He has lived comfortably with respectful teenagers but has limited experience with younger children. During a short time in a new home he proved to be a cuddly, affectionate boy who does actually love playing with a few favourite soft toys, he can stay at home comfortably for some hours, is good in the car, is good to groom and bonds quickly to those who show him love. Buddy is ready to find a calm, patient home where he can continue to grow in confidence and show his sweet, gentle personality.
