Hi my name is Blakely, I am a sweet little lady looking for my forever home. Being a little shy, my humans will need to be patient and give me the time I need to adjust and settle into my new home. Lots of pats will be the best way to build a bond between us. Also I really enjoy a Dine Creamy Treat so you can also win me over with some of these. I am a typical kitten so will have plenty of energy so lots of toys to keep me entertained and amused are a must. I am quite an independent girl so these toys are the best way to help me entertain myself when the humans are not around. I will also need scratching posts for me to use and climb. A nice tall one where I can look down and survey my surroundings would be ideal. I am not always a big fan of being picked up and so can wriggle around to get away and may accidently scratch you so probably no really young kids in the home as they won't understand not to pick me up. But when I am in the mood to be picked up I do settle quite nicely once I feel comfortable. I would be happy to have another cat friendly feline in the home as they can show me the ropes and help me settle in. Also someone that I can play with. I have seen a dog from afar since being in the shelter and I wasn't too scared so if you have a calm quiet dog then I could share space with them providing we are introduced slowly. Indoor lifestyle is best for me as this will keep me safe and is best for my overall health and wellbeing. Also due to my white face, I need to be protected from the harsh direct sun. A regular brush will also be needed to keep my medium length in tip top shape. If I sound like a good fit for your home, please come and meet me.
