Hi I'm Katie. I'm an independent young lady, looking for a quieter household without little people as I'm a bit jumpy and nervous. I don't mind if you aren't around home often as I spend most of my day napping on the couch! I could be happy as your one and only or with another friendly cat or I'd love to continue making mischief with my sister Kehlani. We love to chase balls, lazer dots, wrestle in cat tunnels and toy mice are great! I'm fascinated with little things like scraps of paper and pen lids to bat about! If you pay attention you might notice me bat things your way to indicate I'd like your involvement. Start me in a small space in the home so I know there's a safe space for me. I will need some time and space to build trust and feel comfortable. Does being independent mean I am not friendly? Heck no! It just means I'll come to you when I'm ready. That's usually in the evenings while you're quietly relaxing on the couch. And once I settle in, your heart will melt at the sound of my big purring engine. Scratching posts for me to use and climb are a must so I can keep my paws in tip top shape. Also due to my shy nature, the indoor lifestyle is best for me as the big wide world would be too overwhelming. If you have a quiet household, love chilling on the couch in the evenings and don't mind flicking the occasional pen lid or retrieving ping pong balls from under your couch, I'd love to be your companion
