Lucy came to GAWS after finding life with a toddler a little overwhelming. While she is wonderful with children, her size and need for personal space mean she would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy kids aged 6+ who understand and respect boundaries. Lucy has tested well with other dogs here at GAWS. She does need a little polishing on her manners, as she can sometimes be a bit pushy with more submissive canine friends. She's also not shy about using her voice if play becomes too rough for her liking! With the right guidance and continued positive reinforcement, Lucy will thrive. She absolutely adores her humans and loves being part of the action. Lucy may suit a home with a calm, mature male dog, but as she hasn't previously lived with other dogs, she would be just as happy as the only pet-soaking up all the love and attention for herself.
