Hi my name is Cincinno but my foster family calls me Cindy. I arrived in foster with a problematic eye, that we all hoped would heal. Shortly after I arrived a new younger kitten joined me. We played and slept together, and she helped me become more confident. After a few weeks in foster care, it was determined that my eye needed to be removed and I returned to foster care with one eye and a cone of shame. Everyone was impressed with my recovery, adjustment, eating and playing even with my cone. A problem with a cone, itchy ears you can't scratch. Luckily for me a solution presented itself, I would gently place my paw on a foster carers hand, and they would scratch my ears for me. When my cone came off my foster parents said I was a new kitten, but I'm not a new kitten, just newly improved one-eyed kitten. Can't catch me when I run, I'm too fast for you. I love to play and I run and play just like any other kitten. I like to play with things like toy mice and ribbons basically anything I can carry around in my mouth. Some people like things called a party or event, lots of people everywhere, loud noises and unpredictability. Not my cup of tea. Nope I just like my family, I may gain confidence in my new home, but I still feel a bit vulnerable. I'm pretty relaxed, sweet natured and prefer the quiet life. I Love cuddling in bed. I would join my foster carer for a nap in the afternoon. I think she naps because she is older like maybe 12 in cat years? It's okay if my new family doesn't nap in the afternoon, so long as there is a nice comfy spot on the couch for me. I have just recently become a lap cat after many weeks of being a front legs cat, that's where I would only put my front legs on my foster carers lap and my back legs on the couch. I would like to be a lap cat in my new home, but it may take me a while to get comfortable so I may be a front legs cat for a little while.
