Hi my name is Dakota, I am a sweet girl looking for my forever home. I am a bit shy so please take it slow and give me a chance to settle in. I am fine with pats, particularly around my head, chin and cheeks so lots of these will help show me that I can trust you. I came into the shelter with my best friend Dublin (68740) and I feel more comfortable when he is around so if you are looking for two then we would be the perfect pair. But if I can't be with Dublin, then I am best suited to a home where there is another friendly calm feline who is happy to spend time with me and let me snuggle as they can show me the ropes and help build my confidence. Young children are going to be a bit much for me but older gentle kids should be fine as long as they are respectful and give me space if I need it. Also indoors is where I feel safe and comfortable as the big wide world is too overwhelming and being inside helps to protect me from the harsh sun.
