Hi, it's me - Mario! You know how they say a dog is a man's best friend? Well Mario is all that and more! He is the most smoochy boy who will steal your heart the minute you meet him. He loves nothing more than a snuggle on the couch, always putting his head or a paw on your lap. He adores being around you, following you where you go and then sits right at your feet, relaxed. Mario walks very well on the lead and will walk at your heel. He can be vocal when seeing other dogs. He has learnt so much already - sit, smell (before taking treats) and gentle. He is quite food motivated and very easy to train - He is very clever! He will need someone that can create firm boundaries with him. He loves toys - especially ones where you can play tug of war or one's that squeak. He also loves soft toys, and will often carry one around to chew on. He is great in his crate, and has been happily sleeping in there of a night. He likes a blanket thrown over the top to make it a little extra dark. He prefers to bed fed by himself in his crate away from other pets. He really is an affectionate, loyal boy - full of love to give! Mario has grown up around other dogs and loves playing with them. He has been introduced to cats, and is very inquisitive and will give them a good sniff! He is very gentle with them. He has also grown up around teenagers and is good with them if they let him know boundaries. He can be a little jumpy when first meeting people, but responds so well to firm commands. He will make the best companion for anyone. Truly, a beautiful boy through and through.
