Hi my name is Buddy, I have found my way to the shelter through no fault of my own and am now looking for a new place to call home. I will be a little shy and unsure to begin with so you will need to go slow and be patient. I am happy for pats so nice gentle pats will be a good way to win me over. Also regular brushing is another way to build a bond between us and this will also ensure my luxurious coat is kept in tip top shape. I am best suited to a quiet calm home where I can be a constant companion for my human. I have always lived indoors and so this is where I feel comfortable so will need to be an inside cat in my new home. I am not quite sure yet about other cats and dogs so am happy to be the only animal in the home and this way I can get all the human attention I desire. Young kids may also be a bit too much for me but older respectful ones should be ok as long as they are gentle and give me space when I need it.
