She will hiss and swipe and is currently NOT a fan of being picked up. Start crated and after a few days when she is more trusting she can be introduced into a small room. Shelby will need short, frequent interactions every day so she learns to trust her foster carer, (start with scratcher before moving onto patting with a gloved hand).\r\n\r\nToileting and eating well (Hills Kitten W&D).\r\n\r\nSurgery booked Thur 4th June. Shelby will have pain-relief and possibly antibiotics after surgery so requires a carer who is confident medicating orally as well as being patient with timids.\r\n\r\nNo children. Post-surgery Shelby will need to be kept separate from resident pets & other fosters while her ears heal.\r\n\r\nTime in foster: time leading up to surgery and 2 weeks post-surgery.
